The oldest building on the UWI campus, the UWI Admin building was the original School of Tropical Agriculture even before it became part of the university. This legacy project involved the complete upgrade and refurbishment of this historic building to the highest standards of a modern commercial office environment. All of this was done while integrating a tropical Caribbean flair by using a mixture of finishes and colours throughout. All of the building’s services were also modernised and upgraded. This project was nominated for the prestigious Heritage Preservation Award in December 2009 from The National Trust of Trinidad and Tobago in the Category of Best Historic Restoration Project (Large).
